Some, like snails, protect themselves with a hard shell that they carry everywhere they go.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOthers have a strong outer covering called an \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eexoskeleton\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.
